I am currently teaching the MA course "Science, Technology and Global Affairs", at the School of International Studies, University of Trento. The objective of this course is to provide students with a thorough understanding of the role of science and technology in global affairs. Adopting an interdisciplinary perspective that synthesises knowledge from Critical Security Studies, International Political Sociology, Surveillance Studies, and Science and Technology Studies, the course introduces students to a series of security technologies including drones, satellites, nuclear weapons, communications infrastructures, surveillance systems and malware agents.
